It is finally time to deck your halls! So put on some music, rock around that Christmas tree, and get ready to decorate for your holiday season! Here are 3 different holiday decorating styles we love for this time of year.
Holiday Style: Fa La La La Festive
Snow and Mistletoe and Presents Under the Tree.Be proud of your love for Christmas colors, lights, and figurines! Place them near your front entrance, where the family hangs out, and anywhere else that strikes your fancy! Bring out the snowmen, Santas, and anything that makes you think of winter. Incorporate bright red, green, silver, and gold.
Holiday Style: 'Tis the Season for Subtlety
We Need a Little Christmas. If you adore the winter holidays, but want to play it cool, you still have options. You can keep the traditional holiday colors, but balance them with neutrals. Instead of adding a solid red throw pillow to your couch, you might choose one with a subtle stripe pattern. Is this pillow designed to look like a candy cane? You decide! Throw in a few silver and gold accents, like peppermint-scented candies in metallic holders, to warm and welcome holiday visitors with classy holiday cheer!
Holiday Style: Winter Wonderland
So Much Funukkah To Celebrate Hanukkah. If you're celebrating Hanukkah this time of year, you can't go wrong with the traditional blue and silver color combo. A bonus perk: These colors won't look passé after January 1st, which makes it a great color scheme for those who find Christmas reds and greens too gaudy. Pairing holiday touches with white lights or a candle display will look sharp all season, and a mirrored bar is the perfect addition to any party, especially for ringing in the new year. A fireplace also adds warmth to your celebrations.
What is your favorite holiday decorating style?
Whether your home is sprinkled with snowflakes or candles, Rudolph or a small pop of red in a throw pillow, we wish you happy holiday decorating!
