Weekends Only Mission, Values, and Culture

Our Mission, Values, and Culture

Weekends Only Mission and ValuesMission

Our mission is to save our customers money. We practice seeing how low we can go instead of how much we can get. We believe all people, regardless of income, deserve the best in their homes.

Six values give us purpose, shape our culture, and set us apart from the competition:

Responsibility: Take personal responsibility for meeting customer needs

Teamwork: Not, “I” but “We”—Teamwork will prevail

Performance: Be a high performance company

Growth: Be willing to grow personally and professionally

Honesty: Practice total honesty in all relationships

Commitment: Commitment to profitable growth for the security of our company and co-workers

A focal point for our leadership and employees, these values create a natural alignment within the company. They play an important role in employees’ training and influence every company decision.

Weekends Only Annual Company Picnic

One of our goals is to be an agent of human growth and happiness, both externally in our communities and internally with our employees. We want their personal and professional growth to start on their first day and last beyond their first decade with us. All employees take part in development programs, and we offer opportunities like tuition reimbursement and a Management Development Program.

Because of our commitment to teamwork, we believe each person's voice matters. Everyone on the team deserves a chance to be heard, from the day-to-day on the sales floor to our monthly Coffee With an Exec meetings. We want employees to bring their unique strengths to work every day, as their contributions are valuable in our mission to save our customers money. Happy employees create happy customers!

We also create a fun, relational culture with events like an annual picnic and a company-wide competition to find the best Christmas cookie. To learn more about joining our team, check out our Careers page.
